Meet Coach Ann

West Sacramento’s Best Training Gym is excited to introduce it’s clients to one of our great Results team members, Ann Spade.    Ann is joining the West Sacramento crew on Thursdays for bootcamp, corrective and her all time favorite R.I.P.P.E.D. classes.

Ann Spade Bio


Even though I always loved being physically active I never really had a regimented routine growing up. I took up gymnastics for 4 years when I was younger, but that was the only sport I ever participated in. Fast forward to when my son was born. I was 135 lbs before I was pregnant and when he was born I was 192 lbs. I lost a bit of it afterwards but still maintained a size 12 in pants. I never really worried about my weight until one day my size 12 jeans were too small. I refused to purchase a bigger size so that’s when my fitness journey truly began. Thanks to taking a more active role in educating myself about fitness, I had a new found discipline and enthusiasm for exercise and eating right! I incorporated strength training, cardio, and eating portioned, cleaner meals at least 5 times a day and even allowed myself a free day to indulge. This philosophy worked. I gained lean muscle, I was toned and defined, and my endurance and stamina was the best it had been since gymnastics! I spent time learning more and more from my own research and talking with fitness competitors and fellow fitness enthusiasts. I even had my own gym membership and used it often. With a few of life’s transitions I since fell out of my fitness routines and had my own bouts of weight gain and loss in the following years. I did what I could on my own by running, staying active, and working out at home. In 2012 I was introduced to the R.I.P.P.E.D. fitness program and became certified. I was at a stable size 9 until after teaching a couple months of R.I.P.P.E.D. I am now down to a size 4 and regained lean muscle that I slowly lost. Now teaching several R.I.P.P.E.D. and botcamp sessions  a week and working with a team of coaches at Results the positive fitness influence is being trickle fed to me, my knowledge of nutrition, health, and fitness continues to expand and my foundation for fitness is stronger.

Matt’s footnotes:  Ann is kind of modest, but she just rocked two Tough Mudder events in the last 4 months….no small feat!    When Ann isn’t coaching clients at Results you can catch her with the KQCA My 58 Team at local events like Concerts in the Parks and other local fun events.    Ann is kind of a big deal on YOU TUBE too, you can check out her and her friend Candy and a great R.I.P.P.E.D video here

Ann is excited to be making her Zumba debut along with her friend Marrisa Hodge on August 16th at Fitness After Dark.  We will feature a night club atmosphere with DJ, a killer light show and R.I.P.P.E.D. and Zumba Fitness that will get your heart racing!     Say hello to Ann at Results the Training Gym every Thursday and for our special Fitness After Dark on Friday August 16th.
